Irene Atubiga is a passionate entrepreneur driven by innovation, business growth, and creating lasting impact. With over 10 years of experience in the banking industry, she built a strong foundation in customer relationship management, business strategy, and leadership before pursuing her entrepreneurial ambitions full-time.

Born and raised in Northern Ghana, Irene comes from a family with deep-rooted expertise in traditional shea butter production. Inspired by this rich heritage, she founded Kussa Shea Bliss six years ago to transform generations of indigenous knowledge into a premium natural skincare brand. The company is committed not only to producing high-quality, natural shea butter products but also to empowering women and promoting sustainable wealth creation. To support this mission, Kussa Shea Bliss sources its shea butter exclusively from elderly women engaged in traditional shea butter production, helping preserve their craft while providing them with a sustainable source of income.

Irene personally oversees the sourcing of all raw materials, both locally and internationally, ensuring that every Kussa Shea Bliss product meets the highest standards of quality, authenticity, and excellence. Under her leadership, the brand has grown steadily, earning a reputation for its commitment to natural wellness, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. Beyond her entrepreneurial experience, Irene holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Central University, Ghana, as well as a Marketing Certificate from Cornell University. She also holds a Diploma in Journalism. These qualifications have strengthened her expertise in brand development, strategic marketing, and business growth.

In addition to Kussa Shea Bliss, Irene is the founder of Luxie Trenz Boutique, a successful fashion boutique that has been operating for over eight years. Through her ventures, Irene continues to champion entrepreneurship, women’s economic empowerment, and the creation of authentic Ghanaian brands that compete confidently in both local and international markets. Her vision is to build businesses that not only deliver exceptional products but also create meaningful opportunities and lasting social impact.
